of Government Meeting Planners Destination DC attended the Society
of Government Meeting Planners (SGMP) conference in Louisville, KY, May 13-16,
meeting with key government accounts to showcase Washington, DC. SGMP is
a nonprofit professional organization of government meeting planners and those
individuals who supply services to government planners. Their annual meeting featured

Destination DC Summer Marketing
Campaign With the summer travel season right around the corner, Destination
DC has launched a multi-platform marketing campaign designed to boost travel to
the nation’s capital this summer. The campaign combines print, online, in-movie
theater and television advertisements, along with creative partnerships with consumer
products and films, catering to value-minded travelers by focusing on DC’s
free attractions, fun festivals and hot hotel deals. For a sample of these

Additionally, this fall food and wine lovers will
