Advertise in the Newly Expanded DC Circulator Bus
The DC Circulator has built a loyal following for its existing routes. With new routes, the Circulator now reaches Woodley Park, Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights and the U Street Corridor.  The bus also serves the Capitol Hill, Barracks Row and Capitol Riverfront areas.  The bus has carried over 8 million passengers since its inception in 2005.  For interior bus advertising, please contact Bela Saini at 202-789-7088.

PCMA Leadership Conference
Tiffany Chester, Dianna Waldroup and Melissa Riley of Destination DC’s Convention Sales and Services team recently attended the Professional Conference Management Association (PCMA) Leadership Conference June 7-9 in Austin, Texas. The conference attracted 300 attendees comprised of 50% planners and 50% suppliers. The educational portion included three general sessions and a variety of breakout sessions on such topics as high performance cultures, accountability and peer to peer learning. The intimate environment this conference provides creates great opportunities for face time with planners such as Risk and Insurance Management Association, American Institute of Architects and American Association for Justice.

MPI New England Chapter Annual Meeting
Destination DC Sales Managers Laura Gardner and Michele Soto are attending the Meeting Professionals International New England Chapter Annual Meeting and Gala on June 18 in Boston. This annual event brings the chapter together to celebrate and recognize the achievements of members and their contributions and dedication to the chapter, and provides ample opportunity for networking and meeting new potential clients and customers.

TTRA 2009 Conference
Andy Whittaker, Destination DC Director of Marketing Services, will attend the 2009 Travel & Tourism Research Association (TTRA) conference June 21-24 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The TTRA conference brings together destination researchers and marketers from both national and international cities, states, counties and countries. The group meets annually to discuss best practices in tourism research, branding, marketing, websites, emarketing and other trends for both domestic and international travel.
